Pull a branch of a “podified” project on github

I would like to pull a branch of a github project instead of the master. Somebody know how to do it without being obliged to fork the master and merge the branch with the master on my own ?

pod ‘MagicalRecord’, :git => ‘https://github.com/nhenin/MagicalRecord.git’

  • How to check pods project into same repository as main project xcode 7?
  • fatal error: Could not create a path to the bundle
  • Can not update my pod library
  • Why is the project format with Xcode 5.1.1 from Plist to XML?
  • Pod from github not working
  • Multiple Private repo cocoapods
  • working copy is on master branch, how to update from remote server?
  • iOS CoreData: “Data Model Version Compiler” error
  • Does “git branch -a” list tags?
  • Revalidate opcache only after git push
  • How to undo a Git rollback
  • Is there a way to see what pending pull requests affect a particular file?

    Take a look at the docs on the Wiki, it has some extra options for you such as picking a specific commit.

    This pull request made this possible. Documentation does not seem to be up-to-date though.

    Here is how to do it:

    pod 'JSFooBar', :git => 'https://github.com/joelso/JSFooBar.git', :branch => 'develop'
