How to remove a forked project from my Github profile

Accidentally I clicked on fork button on a github project. However, I dont want to show the project on my github profile.

How can I get remove the publicly forked project in GitHub?

  • Git difftool in Windows to see list of all changed files in addition to file diffs (a la Kaleidoscope)?
  • How to get the changes on a branch in Git
  • GitHub Contribution Histograms
  • Since Git is cumulative, how to deal with that for long term when the repo becomes 5GB?
  • Synchronize git workspace with another folder
  • How do I tell what branch I was on when I stashed changes?
  • How do I take a bunch of my git local commits and merge them into one commit?
  • Does git smartly handle a zip archive in which only one of the files changes regularly?
  • Is there a way to modify the width of elements in the IntelliJ statusbar (esp, the current git branch)
  • How can I create a patch that spans commits using Sourcetree?
  • Eclipse Import > Git Option Not Available
  • How to edit Git “add patch” hunks/diffs/lines during selective staging?

A fork is a new repo in your account.

You can simply delete the repository: see “Deleting a repository”
